TGIF! Seriously, I am so excited that I will finally have a day off of work … on Sunday. I have been working for 13 days straight and I will be going into the office for a full day of work tomorrow. Oh and I hit the proverbial wall on Thursday afternoon and my productivity sort of feel off. I am fairly certain that these submittals are trying to kill me or maybe just break me. Either way, I need a coffee break! How about you?
Since October is my month to reset my healthy lifestyle, I am super excited to report that I have not fallen off of the marathon training wagon. I managed to have pretty good run on Tuesday and last night. I am still a little nervous about the whole running my third marathon thing but I am pretty proud of the fact that I am moving in the right direction on the training front. I was seriously starting to freak out … again! Pete is not a huge fan of the moments when I start to freak out but he is awesome at talking me off the ledge (so to speak). On Sunday, I will be running the Pretty in Pink 15k and I am actually looking forward to it. (I still owe you the Hooters 10k race recap and I should have that posted on Sunday morning.)
In other running news, runDisney posted a picture of the medals for marathon weekend and the Castaway Cay 5k challenge. I think that seeing those medals has been a total motivational boost. I am actually getting a little excited about tackling the Dopey Challenge again. I had an absolute amazing time running it last year (except during the half marathon) and it should be even better this year. runDisney also posted the race information for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend. This will be my fourth year running that race and I am hoping that this year will be the best yet. As long as I can keep moving forward with my marathon training, I don’t see how that will be a problem.
Even though I am working tomorrow, I can safely say that I am excited for the weekend. After my race on Sunday, I get to hang out with my mom and baby sister at another bridal show. I think it is safe to say that my brain has crossed over to the dark side of everything wedding planning. I am trying to not let it control my every thought but it becomes really hard when I start looking at Pinterest or talking to my best friend (who should be having her baby girl any day now!!). When we went to the Disney Bridal Showcase, I felt completely overwhelmed. Thankfully, everything at the showcase was related to Disney weddings. This expo will be completely different and I am already a little intimidated.
How is your week going? What are you doing this weekend?
