One of my resolutions for 2103 was to finally get down to my goal weight of 140 pounds. In the last two years, I have really found losing weight extremely difficult. I was so close to reaching that goal two years but didn’t quite get there and have seen a steady increase in my weight. It has been very frustrating and disappointing to see my weight stuck 20 pounds higher than where I want to be.
About two years ago, my weight was within 5 pounds of my goal weight and I decided to stop counting calories. I wanted to be confident enough in my eating habits and exercise routine that I could enjoy life. I absolutely love food and was tired of denying myself the enjoyment of my favorite foods. Unfortunately, my confidence has been almost non-existent for the last year. I have tried almost everything to kick start my weight loss again, except for counting calories again.
Normally, I am not one to take vitamins and supplements because I have a difficult time remembering to take them every single day. I actually have to set a reminder on my phone to remind myself when I have antibiotics to take. Since I can’t remember to take the vitamins or supplements, I never give them a chance to make a difference. Recently, I made a very conscious effort to change these habits so I could test out a few of the supplements from SD Pharmaceuticals.
A few weeks ago, I was sent a variety of supplements from SD Pharmaceuticals to try out and review. Since I am interested in jumpstarting my weight loss, I decided to try the Green Coffee Bean extract and Raspberry Ketone supplements. According to the product information provided, these two supplements work well together to promote fat loss and weight management. Here is a little bit more information about these two supplements.
What is Green Coffee Bean?
Green coffee beans are coffee beans that have not been roasted. The roasting of coffee beans reduces the chlorogenic acid levels. That’s why green coffee beans have a higher level of chlorogenic acid compared to regular, roasted coffee beans. The chlorogenic acid component in green coffee is what’s thought to be responsible for several of its pharmacological effects, including fat-loss support.
What is Raspberry Ketone?
Raspberry ketone is the main aromatic compound found in red raspberries. It’s a natural phenolic compound that has health-promoting antioxidant properties and can also support fat loss!
To be perfectly honest with you, I was a little skeptical about taking supplements designed for weight loss even these are natural products. I have always believed that weight loss is achieved by following the simple formula of eating less and moving more. Over the last two years of trying unsuccessfully to get down to my goal weight, I have felt like I was either eating too much or not moving enough. Sometimes that simple formula just isn’t enough and a little bit of help can end up going a long way.
So do these supplements work?
I can only tell you how they worked for me. Please keep in mind that I am not a medical professional. This is simply an account of how I tested the supplements and the results that I saw. If you have any questions, please speak with your doctor.
In order to properly test these products, I followed the Supplement Stacking Guide that SD Pharmaceuticals provided me. This guide recommended that I take 1 capsule of the Green Coffee Bean and Raspberry Ketone before breakfast and another capsule of each about 30 minutes before lunch. After several days, I noticed that my weight was dropping and that my clothes started feeling a little looser. Of course, this change in my body came with a few side effects. My body was starting get rid of the extra body fat very quickly, which wasn’t very pleasant.
Overall, I believe that the Green Coffee Bean extract and Raspberry Ketone will continue to provide me with the jumpstart that I need to get down to my goal weight. The only issue I had with these supplements was the not-so pleasant bathroom trips but that is something that happens when you are forcing your body to get rid of excess body fat. (It happened before and I am sure it will happen again.)
