Hey guys! How is it going? I am so happy that it is finally Friday! I really hope that your week has been going better than I mine has.
Have you ever had one of those days where you wish you could just crawl back in bed and forget the day ever happened? You know one of those days that you really need to press the reset button and just start over. Almost every single day for the last two weeks have felt that way to me. Long days at work have left me feeling drained and uninspired. I haven’t really wanted to work out either. Thankfully, I have some bright spots coming my way in the next few weeks.
I missed our coffee date last week so we have some serious catching up to do. So go grab your mug, pull up a chair and let’s chat!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you about a strange work opportunity I was presented with yesterday. I would also tell you about how sad I was when I had to turn it down. I am not sure if it would have been an opportunity that would have changed my career. I do know that it would have seriously shaken things up in my life. My reason for turning it down is extremely valid but the whole situation really upset me yesterday. I don’t like turning down opportunities.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am both excited and nervous about my first race of the season, The Flavor Run. Do you remember when I first told you about the race? Well it is finally happening … tomorrow. I have never done a non-traditional race before so I have no idea what to expect. I am so afraid the color won’t wash out of my hair … ever!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you about how crazy excited I am for our upcoming trip to California. I have been trying all week to write a post about our trip and I can’t seem to make my thoughts coherent. We have such an amazing 9 day trip planned. Hopefully, I can calm my excitement long enough to write a preview post. Let’s just say that there will be running, baseball, game shows and plenty of Disney during our trip.
So what are your plans for the weekend? Anything exciting to share?
