Reading … Platform by Michael Hyatt. I just finished listening to this book for the second. I absolutely love listening to audiobooks during my commute. I actually heard about Platform (<— affiliate link) from a couple of amazing blogger friends. It is probably one of the most informative books I have read in a while. Normally I stick to fiction because it allows me to get lost in another world. I am really glad that I listened to them and listened to this book. It is full of valuable information for anyone interested in growing. I actually really wish I had this book in a hard copy so that I could highlight, bookmark and take notes in the margin.
Watching … officially obsessed with Pitch Perfect. Every single time that it comes on I watch it. I think it goes back to my days a church choir singer but I just can’t help myself. This movie has been on so much that my boyfriend has even started to memorize the lines. I am really hoping that I get the soundtrack for Christmas or my birthday. This is the one thing that my boyfriend is not allowed to remove from the DVR … ever!
Working … on my new blog design! I am so close to having a new theme design ready and I can’t wait to share it with you. My blog has needed a facelift for a really long time now. I have finally sat down and hashed it out. I am such a perfectionist that I often times give up when something doesn’t go exactly how I want to. My goal is to have my theme up by the time my boyfriend and I get on our plane to California.
Eating … my Chocolate Cappuccino Cream Puffs. I posted a picture of these beauties on Instagram last weekend and they are amazing. I am actually surprised that any of them made to the weekend since my boyfriend didn’t have a crazy work week. I am pretty sure he was trying to avoid the French macarons which were sitting on top of the cream puffs in the fridge. Oh and just in case you are wondering, I am posting the recipe tomorrow morning. They are delicious and a perfect treat to enjoy during an afternoon coffee break.
Loving … the treadmill in our garage. I never in a million years thought that I would love a treadmill. This may sound strange but I have never actually hated running on the treadmill. It really doesn’t bother me as much as it does other people. The fact that I have one in my garage means that I can sleep in on the weekends and still get my long runs in. It is just to hot to run outside to start running after 8 AM and I don’t get up that early on the weekends unless I absolutely have to.
