I still can’t believe that February is already here. January was such a very busy month for me that it feels like it flew by! I had two amazing race weekends back to back. I started off by running my first marathon at Walt Disney World.
The very next weekend I ran the ZOOMA Florida Half Marathon, which was a beautiful course. Sorry I haven’t finished my recaps yet but they should be posted next week.
Other than that, I had several huge deadlines at work that ended up consuming a lot of my time. I am hoping that this project will be coming to an end soon so I can get my life back to a 40 hour work week. Anyway, let’s see how I did on my goals for January.
2. Complete the January Photo A Day prompts. FAIL! The month started off strong but I got so busy with other things that I never had a chance to catch up. Hopefully, I will be able to complete one month of these prompts this year!
3. Finish unpacking my boxes. FAIL! So I didn’t touch a single box. Not one. I could blame on long hours at work or two amazing race weekends but I am not going to. Instead, I am going to force myself to do next month.
4. Be more consistent and organized with my blogging. CHECK!!! I feel like I did a really good job at being organized with all of my blogging stuff this month. The planner I created is still being used and helping me keep everything in one place. I also blogged on a fairly consistent basis, which is a huge accomplishment for me.
5. Practice yoga once a week. SORT OF … While I didn’t practice yoga once a week, I did practice twice and that is an improvement. I still haven’t found a new studio that is closer to my house so that has made things a little difficult for me. Hopefully, I can incorporate more yoga into my life next month.
