My November Goals

Even though I didn’t recap my September monthly goals and never officially set any monthly goals for October, I am hoping back on the bandwagon for November. I feel like October and September went by so quickly that I never had the chance to catch. With my professional exam out of the way, I can get back to the business of my life. Work is still crazy but there is a level of controlled chaos once again.

My Monthly Goals for November:

1. Blog daily. November is actually National Blog Posting Month. My goal is to post daily. I have some extra time in the evenings now that I am not using to study anymore so I am going to take that time to write, edit photos, and publish blog posts. I really want to get into a better groove of blogging because I love sharing my life and adventures with all of you. I also want to be more active on Social Media again (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest) because I have really missed it these last few months.



2. Take a Photo daily. Every blog post needs a photograph, right? I absolutely believe that a good blog post is both editorially and visually pleasing (great content and great photos). I have fallen off of the bandwagon many times with the Photo A Day prompts from Fat Mum Slim. This month I am planning to use a bunch of these photos for my blog posts and to help inspire my writing.


3. Stick to my Marathon Training plan. November is the month when I finally go from half marathon to marathon mileage. After this week’s long run, I will have officially passed the half marathon distance and really start pushing my body to its limits. I actually have my first 20 mile run scheduled for this month!

4. Reach my goal of 150 miles walked or run. Every year, Monica from Run Eat Repeat hosts the Pile on the Miles (POTM) Challenge. The premise behind it is to pile on the miles instead of the pounds that are inevitable during the holiday season. I participated last year and it really helped my motivation. I will also be participating in the Amanda’s Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge (HBBC) again this year but that doesn’t start until Thanksgiving.

5. Have fun at Walt Disney World! That’s right, I am going to Disney World … again! Next weekend is the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend and it is the last weekend of the International Food and Wine Festival. There are going to be a LOT of Disney related posts coming your way in the next couple of weeks!
